It seems like a hundred years ago now but in reality it's only been a few but I recall way back when I was trying to find someone to narrate The Tapestry story and it seemed like a never ending audition. I just couldn't seem to find the right balance as I'd listened to quite a few audio books myself and the one thing I hated the most was a monotone, monotonus voice that just just droned on and on. There have been many times when I've just fallen asleep listening to a narrator so any new mums out there having trouble getting your kids off to the land of nod, I may have the answer.

I decided to go in search of a narrator myself instead of waiting for them to come to me and that's when I stumbled across 'The Voice of Dracula' himself, Mr Lawrence Burgess. His work on the Dracula podcast was phenomenal so I decided I would reach out and see if he fancied taking a shot at the voice of the Demon Saul.

I heard nothing for a few months so I forgot about it and moved on with my life, still auditioning rather grey narrators when one day out of the blue I got an email from Lawrence who'd been rather busy in the studio but was more than happy to narrate the whole book for me.

I think you'll agree that this one won't be sending you to sleep anytime soon. Links below and also check out Lawrence's work on the Dracula Podcast.
